- National Sales Head to focus aggressively towards growth of surface transportation (express/PTL) of SICAL Supply Chain Solutions business vertical of Logistics. - The focus geography for this role will be India. SICAL will be building this transportation business via a recent acquisition PNX Logistics Pvt Ltd. - This role involves working with Regional Sales Managers based out of Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi & Kolkata and also with team of Business Development Executives. SICAL currently has about 50+ branch network across India and National Sales Manager need to chart out a plan to open branch network in each region in alignment with Top Management. - SICAL's current transport business is mainly PTL business and SICAL aspires to build express transportation business on a select routes. - National Sales Manager will be also meeting various customers on an on-going basis to develop new business. NSM will also be responsible for credit control and collections and also the customer service team. - The Credit Collection and customer service team will be reporting to NSM. - The yield per Kg will be one of the key KRA for this role. - NSM will need to be a good leader who has a very good understanding of surface transportation business in India. - In future, SICAL may decide to start air express services as well as rail transportation services. - Hence experience of handling air express as well as rail transportation will be an added advantage.
