We are looking for candidates for the National Sales Head for one of our key portfolio company, Park+ (Series A) About Park+ : Park+ is a smart parking solution provider that aims to streamline the challenges faced by the daily commuters through an all-inclusive platform that offers parking services ranging from discovery to payments. The company is currently in development phase and will launch their app shortly. About the Founder : Amit Lakhotia has been part of leadership teams of three fairly successful startups in India and Indonesia - MakeMyTrip, Paytm and Tokopedia - over last 12 years. He joined all three companies at nascent stages and played a critical role in scaling these businesses. Amit previously led the digital payments arm for Paytm, India's biggest player in the payment space that is currently valued at ~15B USD. As business head of Paytm wallet, he built out the digital instrument from ground zero, led product, sales, operation, strategy, technology and business teams associated with the wallet business. Amit did his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad after doing B.E. (Computer Science) from NSIT, Delhi. Role Reports to : Founder &amp; Managing Director : - Matrix is partnering with Amit / Park+ to hire an experienced National sales Head to contribute to the company's sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. - As a National sales manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. - Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. - Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers. What we are looking for? - Experience : 8- 12 Years of Sales experience - Startup Experience of Seed- Series B/C is preferred - Preferred Domain exposure : Real Estate/ Marketplace/ FMCG and Banking - Proven work experience as a National sales manager - Experience managing a high performance sales team - Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite - An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics - Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills - Strong communication and team management skills - Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude - Availability to travel as needed - MBA degree from top B schools would be preferred Position Objective : - Developing and implementing effective sales strategies - Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets - Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts Responsibilities : - Develop and implement effective sales strategies - Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets - Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts - Negotiate and close agreements with large customers - Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts - Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities - Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients- needs - Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency - Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
