Job profile:
Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Operational Plan.
Define the new product category, models, likely pricing and weigh product worthiness to meet BU objectives.
Drive sales team and establish sales targets as per Annual Operational Plan & help them in achieving the targets.
To motivate & direct Sales team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
Evaluate the financial aspects of business, like sales budget, sales forecasting, scheme formatting etc.
Initiate market research like brand trend study, brand positioning, competitor pricing analysis & collate market feedback.
Plan and implement local sales promotions in consultation with marketing department.
Interact with customers and vendors, visit market to understand the market segmentation, demographic representation, future scope etc.
Format & launch new schemes and trade programs region wise/branch wise/ location wise/ product category wise.
Recommend modifications to products, packaging or other characteristics to improve the environmental soundness or sustainability of products.
Product Planning Strategy and Development.
Product Performance Evaluation and control.
Market shares and tracking of industry opportunities.
Competition analysis.
