- This is a leadership role reporting to the Director of CL/SCM Business Development for APAC, the role is to provide team leadership, including daily management, remote management approach to ensure a harmonized way of working, maintain the right level of Product Competencies to achieve top expert to top opportunity allocations and the right resource availability to meet the demand of our internal and external customers whilst also maintaining a high level of compliance to the Contract Logistics Delivery Method (CLDM).

- Business Development is responsible for the Sales and Development of Contract Logistics (CL) / Supply Chain Management (SCM). Joining our team will grant you the opportunity to actively support the Business Development of Contract Logistics activities in the APAC Region, and to operate and communicate within an international network.

Job Requirement:

- This position requires the following key attributes

- Experience in modern Warehouse and Distribution, Supply Chain design (automation and other modern warehousing innovation (robotics, digitalization) is preferred.

- Holding a Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or relevant technical field.

- More than 10 years of relevant working experience in the logistics and supply chain industry; knowledge of 3PL, 4PL and LLP variations is a plus.

- Degree level in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Business Administration, multi-tasking ability to work different programs and plans at the same time

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

- Excellent sales and negotiation skills

- Good command in spoken and written English; other Asian/European language(s) is beneficial.

- Excellent organization and coaching skills.

- Self-starter with positive attitude to overcome problems effectively and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.

- Distinctive intercultural competency: able to communicate with all levels of the organization, work as a team and build strong rapport and credibility both internally (country organization, regional and global offices) and externally (customers and vendors).

- Possess strong persuasive skills when presenting the proposed solution(s) to the customer. - Require hands-on approach, able to multi-task and work under time pressure.

- Strong analytical skills with good commercial and technical understanding of CL.

- Ability to travel abroad frequently.
