Key Responsibility: - Custodian of top line delivery and accountability of the P&L - Responsible to design and deliver strategic growth plans both in existing markets and white spaces. - In charge of strategizing annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department's performance against targets. - Identification of areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improving of sales and business profits. - Understand the competitive landscape and market trends and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships - Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results - Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and clusters; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Competencies: - MBA in sales/Marketing with 15 - 20 years of experience in building and leading sales teams, and driving B2C dealer driven channel sales. - The candidate should have handled a national level role in his previous stints especially in automobile industry (Two-wheeler or Passenger Car Segment) - Strong bias for and extensive with data-based decision-making including funnel reporting, forecasting metrics, and trend analysis to identify actionable insights. - Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, demonstrated ability to exercise sharp judgement. - Successful track record of prospecting researching and qualifying targets, generating sales reports, sales pipelines and funnel management for new business opportunity and markets.
