Our client is a global pharmaceutical giant with operations in more than 50 countries and an employee strength of more than 60,000. It's certainly an industry leader and a key player in the global markets. This position is based in Mumbai.

Job Description

Reporting into the MD- India Operations your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- To design and drive the blue print of growth while working closely with sales management and marketing by brands/packs/Designated channels and geographies across the country

- Grow volume, revenue and market share in assigned customer chains through customer development agreement execution, and developing customer specific standards for merchandising range, promotions and pricing

- Play a lead role in developing and execution of the annual operating plan, including planning and implementing marketing initiatives

- Developing local opportunities in line with business objectives.

- Deployment of local media to ensure strategy implementation in consultation with marketing

- Develop and drive channel initiatives in the organized trade

- Develop market presence standards (Merchandising & signage) in co-ordination with marketing and sales function

- Effective partnership with the regional sales management and influence them for smooth business outcome

The Successful Applicant

- You will have atleast 12 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical sector with atleast 2 years driving sales for 1 or 2 Zones of India. You will have an MBA from a Top Tier Institute only and the passion to drive your sales force.
