About Okay Industries:

Okay Industries is a reputed manufacturer of Plastic products which are used by the Indian Railways and various large automotive companies. Using technical know-how from DuPont, USA the company has developed STPA tubes, which are a cost-effective replacement for copper tubing used in air-conditioning installations. Since copper tubing forms a significant component of cost in air-conditioning installations and is used as de-facto standard material in all air-conditioning installations, the business potential for STPA tubes is enormous.

To realize this business potential, Okay Industries wishes to build a quality organization which can successfully seed the concept of STPA tubes in the Indian air-conditioning market and drive an increasing rate of conversion from copper tubes.

POSITION: NATIONAL/REGIONAL SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Compensation would be based on Industrial Standard and candidate's efficiency.

Position Overview:

Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share. Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

Job Responsibilities:

- Proven Ability to create effective distributing channel.

- Proven Ability/Passion to establish new product in the market.

- Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements.

- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.

- Defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses.

- Forecasting projected business and establishing targeted market share.

- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities

- Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.

- Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Accountability and Performance Measures:

- Effective communication with clients and maintaining relations.

- Smooth Functioning of all the sales and marketing activities of the company.

- Coordinating with the directors for pre-sales review and assigning budgeted targets.

Job Requirements:

- Age should be near 30-35 years.

- Holds a degree of MBA in Marketing discipline.

- He or She should have at least 10 years of work experience.

- He or She should be currently employed at a regional level.
