National Quality Head - Only Female Candidates

Our client is one of the leading FMCG player with presence is Asia, Africa, Latin America across home care, personal wash and hair care. They are aiming to become double the size of what they were in 2010 by 2020. They are looking for a Gender Diversity Candidate to be the National Quality Head for them and will be based out of Mumbai Office.

Reporting into the Head R&D and managing a team of quality heads at a plant level, you will be responsible for:

- Partnering with internal stakeholders; viz. production and packaging development as well as external stakeholders; viz. manufacturing, sourcing and procurement

- Bringing in best in class practices on material sciences and working across India and categories to ensure the shelf quality of products.

- Overseeing ex-factory quality adherence across the categories of Personal Wash, Hair Care, Home Care & HI

- Establishing systems for qualifying vendors/raw material and for upgrading adequacy of specifications on an ongoing basis

- Deriving value add from competition analysis.

- Enabling the organization to effectively draft standards test methods and SOPs

- Strengthening and implementing material analysis across HO and manufacturing clusters

- Partnering across units in enhancing our ex-factory quality standards and establishing systems for qualifying vendors / raw material

- Risk assessment and mitigation for new product launches as well as existing products

Ideally you are a female candidate with 16+ years of experience and should be a post Graduate in Science (preferably in Chemistry) from tier 1 institutes. You should have led a team of Analysts/quality controllers and auditors engaged in instrumental analysis in the pharmaceutical (preferably) or FMCG industry and should have interacted and networked with third party laboratories, having National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) or similar accreditation. You should have experience in Cross Functional Interaction - Intra functional interaction with Product Development & Packaging Design & Development ; Product Supply Organization ; Marketing
