Job Summary:

The National Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the client's proprietary Retailer Payment Services. This includes coordinating with multiple FMCG clients, overseeing KYC collection and payment processing for retailers, coordinating with banks, maintaining payment systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and optimizing payment workflows for efficiency. He will also be responsible for coordinating with clients to increase payment processing opportunities for various trade channels.

Client's 3rd party payment services constitute multiple parallel and sequential activities starting from the KYC collection process to the final payout and reconciliation. Designated team members carry out each of these tasks. These tasks are time-sensitive and require adequate due diligence, monitoring, and regular review.

Responsibilities:

1. Payment Processing:

- Oversee and manage end-to-end payment processing operations managed by a team of over 40 people performing various tasks.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues.

2. Payment Systems Management:

- Implement and maintain payment systems, that include understanding and implementation of client's workflow system, Ezeepay app for retailers, and other related technologies.

- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in payment services for the target market in India.

3. Financial Institution Relations:

- Establish and maintain relationships with banks to ensure timely and customised MIS for clients.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure the right payment to the right retailer at the right time all the time.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Implement and monitor security measures to mitigate fraud and other risks.

5. Team Leadership:

- Lead a team of payment professionals, providing guidance and support.

- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyse payment data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for increasing business with client company.

- Give insights to client companies on the performance of their trade channels.

- Generate reports for management on payment performance and key metrics.

7. Process Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize payment processes.

- Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

8. Customer Service:

- Lead client's customer service team to solve retailer and client queries, efficiently and accurately.

- Ensure a positive customer experience in all payment interactions.

Qualifications:

- Ddegree in engineering or commerce, or a related field.

- An MBA in Finance and marketing is preferred.

- Minimum 12 years of experience in payment services or financial operations.

- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Expert level proficiency in MS Office

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficient in using payment processing software and tools.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity and fraud prevention measures.

- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry changes.
