The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing (create alternative source of supply) to buy more for less and to ensure fair supplier selection at fair value. This position reports to CTO.  Job Description   - Liaise with other functional Heads to develop a 12 month procurement plan and ensure early procurement engagement in high profile/cost/risk procurements to enable efficiencies to be realised and appropriate procedures are adopted from the outset.  - To advise service areas of contract management best practice and encourage and help develop the inclusion in tender documents of robust Performance Measures, KPIs and Management Information requirements.  - Participating in the creation of innovative strategies to identify and match business needs with supplier capabilities.  - Ensuring an efficient and effective ideation and development process that enable speed to market and is protecting the competitive advantage of NPCI.  - Attend meetings and update others on issues or concerns, in particular when there is a risk which could prevent the organisation meeting customer demands or where there are over capacity concerns  - Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact  - Work collaboratively and negotiate and engage with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies and initiatives and advise of impact of change on purchasing and production activities  Candidate Profile:  - Post Graduate preferably with professional qualification in Supply Chain Management.  - 15 + years of relevant experience in Procurement/Sourcing, driving cost savings and improving terms and conditions  -The role will need to buy telecom services, IT hardware, Software, Professional Services, and DC etc.  - Self-starter with excellent business/financial acumen, proficient working with cross-functional teams, including demonstrated motivation, influence, and the ability to drive change across all levels of the organization  - Outstanding negotiation and networking skills  - Excellent supplier management skills including demonstrated ability to develop and manage business driven supplier executive relationships  - Proven track record of successfully managing risk and conflicting schedules  - Strong attention to detail required as work prepared by this position is presented to executive management for use in decision making  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
