National Operations Head - Logistics

One of our client having 30,000+ people needs a National Operations Head. The position will manage a large team of fleet, optimize their movement and improve the efficiency.

Candidates from Logistic Industries particularly courier company will be preferred.

Qualification: Graduate in any field. Post Graduate Qualification in Management is preferred.

Experience : 12 + years in relevant field

Operation:

1. Operation Management

a. Manage corporate operations and team Monitor and manage operations of central team with respect to receipt and dispatch of cash

b. Coordination with Local / branch operations. Ensure TAT and SLAs agreed as per contracts are met.

c. New business

d. Route optimization. Ensure efficient and effective usage of resources (vehicle and personnel)

e. Drive revenues through local billing and efficient operations

f. Control cost through optimal usage of resources

2. Process Improvement

a. Drive efficiencies

b. Enhance Risk Management

3. Internal Coordination

a. Compliance for Audit

b. Implement necessary checks to ensure nil cash

Financial

1. Billing and collection

a. Billing – Ensure accurate and timely generation of bills to Customers through coordination with the billing department

b. Ensure efficient collections

Customer

1. Liaison with Banks and Service Providers to ensure resolution of operational issues

People

1. People Management

c. Monitor, manage and mentor all employees

d. Ensure nil IR issues
