National Manager Business Development

Role Summary: This role will be instrumental in onboarding & sign new Affinity partnerships across the target segments.

Position Summary:

The individual will be responsible for :

- Carry new Business Development targets to on-board Top Banks, NBFCs & Financial Institutions for cross-selling MB vHealth Products - Primary healthcare subscription packages.

- Proactively build a strong new business development pipeline for Affinity Sales and Value-Added Services (VAS). Tracking progress and ensuring regular follow-ups.

- Develop comprehensive strategies to acquire Top NBFCs and financial Institutions, considering market trends, competitor analysis and regulatory landscape.

- Approach & establish contact with key stakeholder at prospective partner (NBFCs, Banks & Financial Institutions) to discuss & propose MB vHealth Products to be sold as an attachment/cross-sell along with their own financial product.

- Co-create sales strategy by working with internal or external underwriters on designing of products, recommending the best fit products from the existing product suites of MB vHealth, which can address the business objective of partner and enhance the product positioning for the end customers.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development, Marketing, Finance, Network & Operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services to partners.

- Mutually agree the SLAs & SOPs with the Partners (NBFCs, Banks & Financial Institutions) and accordingly design & execute the Go To Market (GMT) plan

- Seek necessary sign offs from both partner and internal stakeholders like Legal, Finance, Operations, Network and IT before the launch to execute the distribution contracts/agreement and conclude the deal.

- Actively engage sales support team at newly on-boarded partner and Go Live as per the GTM plan by each channel defined by the Partner.

- Carry targets to jointly drive the sales with the Account Management team for first 180 days and then handover the partnership to Account Management team to drive relationship further.

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements:

- Excellent NBFCs, Insurance, Banks Third Party Products (TPP) industry connect and expertise for building strategic alliances & partnerships for health products

- Diligent, Dynamic and Result oriented candidate with good communication skills

- Hunger and acumen to achieve higher goals

- Strong negotiation, influencing, liaison & relationship skills

- Strong convincing power and out of the box thinking

- Ability to build & maintain long standing relations with stakeholders & key decision makers to strategically secure profitable business

- Planning, organizational and prioritization skills

Background/Experience Desired:

- Qualification - MBA from an institute of high repute

- Candidates from Insurance & Banking industry, having experience in bancassurance sales will be preferred.

- Business Development professional with min. 10 years of experience in Insurance, Banks, or Financial Services industry
