Job Description - Strategic role to work with the Mortgage business as Head Technical Valuation

Client Details

Our client is one of the well-established Housing Finance Company backed by a reputed conglomerate. The HFC has mortgage product offerings across loans, Mortgages, Loans Against Property, Loans Against Shares, Micro-finance and Agri-loans. They are looking for a Head Technical Valuation with strong team handling experience for their operations based in NCR.

Description

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for the following-

- Framing and Implementation of various valuation policies related to real estate funding for the Wholesale Lending Portfolio

- Responsible for project appraisals for a wholesale lending portfolio with exposure to construction finance, tracking building exposure and empanelment of values

- Credit Review of Construction Finance proposals, monitoring of wholesale portfolio projects, corporate loans, SME Loans with worth more than INR 10 crores

- Valuation of the property on Pan India Level for leading mortgage company

- Handling a team of technical managers, officer, and executive

- Approved Project Funding, Builder Meeting, Maintaining builder Relationship, etc

- Looking after valuation appraisal for various products i.e. Home Loan, LAP & SME

- Legal Verification checking the legal paper of the property and verified the legal owner of the property

- Monitoring and reviewing various processes - TAT, Productivity, regular cross audits of In-house and agencies

- Maintaining market intelligence for new plans approved, number of registrations

- Competitors activities and development of new rules and regulations affecting real estate market

- Tracking Real Estate market and providing the business potential to Sales Team

- Work on complex request, analyze & provide a proposal to the business team in terms of collateral acceptability.

Profile

The successful candidate should have 10+ years work experience in Technical Valuation role- valuation in the wholsesale lending portfolio, construction finance with any mortgage background company.

He/ She should have worked in the wholesale lending portfolio as a strong technical individual with strong relationship with the builders/ real estate projects and understanding of the micromarket.
