Job Description :   - Maximizes sales department effectiveness by determining and solving sales representative and sales manager training needs; managing maximum training  - The duties of the Sales Training Manager are to plan, conduct, coordinate and implement a comprehensive training program for the sales staff. The training components will be geared toward new hires, existing sales staff as a group, and sales professionals who need one-on-one assistance. He should conduct ongoing training for all skill levels, including basic sales skills, as well as advanced sales techniques. The focus, and measure of success, would be sales staff productivity.  - Meets sales training financial objectives by forecasting sales training requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.  - Prepare weekly Training Calendar as per defined procedures.  - Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees with managers.  - Document the individual trainings including trainee assessments and feedbacks.  - To interact with various stakeholders in order to finalize the training calendar for the month.  - To conduct Training Need Analysis and report training needs for the location.  - Develops and delivers training programs and materials to address all ongoing and advanced training and development of sales representatives with emphasis on selling, territory management, management skills and concepts.  - Performs Training Need Analysis and suggests programs with the most effective means of training measures for the salesforce to meet the overall objective of the organization.  - Schedule and conduct tests as per training calendar  - Maintain test results of staff for the region  - Provide Test scores of staff to Regional manager.  - Actively engage the sales team through structured interactions, as well as regular communications formally and informally  - 5 -7 years plus hands on sales training experience (.com industry, Ad space selling preferred. no banking and insurance)  - Should have knowledge on adult learning principles, kirkpatrick model of learning and Addie model  - Strong internet concepts  - Should be an MBA from a Premier Institute  - Should have handled budgeting and scheduling aspect of Training  - Should have good content creation experience  - Should have taken programs for sales behaviour  - Should have experience in rewards and recognition program  - Should have 4-5 years of experience in field sales
