Objective :
- Incumbent is expected to scale up entire Modern Trade & Ecom business and would be fully accountable for Modern Trade sales strategy and revenue growth of the company on a PAN India basis.
- He/she must be focused on Key account management, category management and Promotion planning with increase in distribution and market share.
- She/He is expected to guide all Key account manager/Zonal Modern trade heads in delivering the overall sales objectives and takes pro-active initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare the Modern Trade sales strategy & growth plans in line with business strategy
- Lead resource for planning portfolio growth initiatives with accounts, assortment planning, launch planning and execution, development and execution of Joint Business Plans.
- Category management and Promotion planning.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- To achieve volume and value objectives of the Modern Trade within budget, time and policy parameters through efficient control of the network under charge
- Open new Modern trade accounts at a robust pace and align on competitive terms of trade.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers in achieving company's objective and vision.
- Lead resource for planning and negotiating for in-store activations, merchandising, sell-out plans with the accounts
- Provide trade information, competitor's activities and market intelligent to company.
Qualifications :
- MBA or PGDM from a top B. School, with 8+yrs of experience-
Experience :
- Key account management experience in FMCG/FMCD is a must)
- Should have strong Modern Trade knowledge with hands on experience in dealing with top Modern trade accounts ( Reliance, Big bazaar, Metro etc)
