National Sales Director - Microcorium - India

Microcorium is an organization established by professionals from UK, intending to redefine the Indian skincare market, introducing unique dermatology solutions for the Indian and Asia Pacific markets. These solutions shall be retailed through a network of leading clinicians - dermatologists, beauticians etc and online retail. Indian dermatology market is forecasted to be one of the fastest growing therapeutic areas with a growth rate CAGR> 10%

All products are based on advanced clinical research, having approvals from health regulators in US/ U.K./ Australia, where they are already well established. All products are underpinned by clinical research and are IP protected as they are based on unique formulae and are approved by international health regulators e.g. FDA/ MHRA/ ACSQHC.

The current products include Microskin, a camouflage cream, mosquito repellents, skin enhancing cream and soon to be introduced a non-invasive lip enhancer and Vitamins. Most products like Microskin, a very successful product to camouflage vitiligo, hyper pigmentation, burn marks, birth marks, rosacea, melasma etc, come as a comprehensively packaged product including applicators (sponges/ airbrush) and specialized removers. The differentiator is the fact that all these products are durable/ effective for a longer duration post application and the skin remains breathable. The company will be the gateway for international pharmaceutical companies seeking an entry into the Indian dermatology market.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead a pan-India, multi- product business within the skincare sector for an international clinical cosmetology firm.

- It is an entrepreneurial role wherein the incumbent shall be required to curate the sales strategy, build a team capable of managing a network of products which have specific channels of clinicians eg dermatologists, cosmetologists etc and to be responsible for the both retail and online sales

- Be a member of the leadership team which builds Microcorium into a company synonymous with providing innovative, world leading clinically researched skin care solutions which lead to a positive impact on the state of well-being of the Indian customers

- Would be responsible for managing the entire value chain, optimizing operations, to driving consumer acquisition, engagement, revenue across offline & digital channels

- The requirement of the role would be to empanel leading clinicians and collaborate with the industry through workshops, clinician forums and training programmes

- Curate training programmes for the proposed and empaneled clients to regularly update and showcase the product offerings

- Align the marketing activities with the sales requirements and over ensure a cohesive collaboration with the Marketing Head.

- Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, improve customer satisfaction by using latest sales technology and CRM software.

- Understanding of technology to deliver sales strategy and customer experience is essential.

- Set sales targets and review performance with the leadership team at regular predefined intervals

- Establish and maintaining key customer relationships.

Pre-Requisite Requirements:

- The incumbent should have strong business acumen, having worked in a leadership role in a similar organization.

- Should have the created a start-up strategy and successfully led a multi-channel sales team for the last 5-6 years.

- Master's degree in business, with international exposure of a minimum of 2-3 years is essential

- Should have the experience and ability to develop various new channels of sales

- Experience of having worked with an international cosmetic firm in a sales role, using the latest sales technology and CRM software, with exposure to KOL (key opinion leaders) relationship building activities vis a vis engagement drives, is a requirement of the role.

- Ecommerce experience shall be an added advantage

- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are essential along with great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
