National Collection Manager - BFSI

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. JOB PURPOSE

To build collection strategy in line with industry best practices meeting the broad objective of company policy. Driving incremental & step change improvements- with an objective of maximizing collections, identifying alerts/red flags including high risk and high impact customers, therefore controlling loss rates and achieving cost efficiency Identify and deliver improvements to the range of account treatment and negotiation options available to collection agents.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT ABILITIES

Major Activities

Functional Responsibilities

- Ensure the collection targets are met

- Ensure end to end NPA Management & Write off Recovery Mechanism

- Ensure that the NPA's are kept at minimum trigger levels

- Ensure payments, Audit receipts get deposited within the defined SLA

- To ensure all necessary legal actions are complied for resolution and recovery

- 60Plus, ARC & Write off Portfolio management

- Focused approach to recover from Write off, ARC & 60Plus

- Recruit and manage recovery agencies and set necessary targets and drive

- Ensuring that all cases are handed over to the Collections Officers/BCM within prescribed time frames and are appropriately actioned

- Close coordination with legal team to make sure all the legal actions are initiated to maximize recoveries

- Identification and empanelment of agencies as per the suitability of portfolio and profile of the customer

- Hard bucket/recovery agency management

- In-house team handling experience would be an added advantage

- Providing timely feedback and update to State Collection Head to track productivity and account-wise feedback and thereafter necessary action to betaken

- Ensuring actions to trace the skip cases

Managerial Responsibilities

- Allocate work to the collection managers and ensure that all the agencies in the location perform as per defined SLA

- Motivating, managing and counseling the Zonal/Regional/BCMs to ensure their continued focus towards the achievement of overall Business target

- Tracking efficiency & effectiveness of the Resolution/Recovery of the portfolio Daily basis and providing feedback to them

- Overall 12-15 years with minimum of 8 years in the Mortgage Industry
