PURPOSE:
- To manage and ensure annual sales budget are achieved through various marketing activities.
- To maintain transparency in business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SELF:
1, To formulate strategy for product - packaging, Positioning and Promotion
2, To implement sales strategy to drive the targeted business.
3, To evaluate market potential and market size (Segments) to understand the Customer need.
4, To manage promotional expenses and inventory.
5, Coach and guide the team as required to keep them motivated.
6, Management of distribution channel and trade to ensure desired penetration
7, To apprise SBU about market situation and to workout action plan.
SHARED/ COLLECTIVE:
1, High cross functional interaction - Production dept, Quality assurance, Processing and Research and Development.
2, Sales Management - To ensure that annual plans are achieved.
3, To create required level of awareness about products through various activities During pre and post season.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1, To ensure that annual sales budget are achieved.
2, To implement financial discipline at distributors level - 100% cash n carry.
3, Judicious use of discount budget to ensure better realization (NRV)
4, To develop and maintain business relations with Govt. officials to ensur Required permissions in time.
