Roles & Requirements: - CA or LLB with 8+ years of relevant working experience in Indirect Taxes & Knowledge of GST - Have a keen understanding of their client's industry and business and develop deep relationships at the Board level. Lead, coach, and develop professionals within the practice. - Consulting and compliance indirect tax experience is needed; experience in dealing with indirect tax in accounting / ERP systems is desirable. - Should be positive & analytical. - Excellent research skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills required - Should have handled a team - Ability to develop strong client relationships - Multistate VAT/Entry tax compliance and advisory experience desired Other attributes: - Big 4 or other consulting firm's experience exposure preferred. - Good at business and assertive communication - Should be proactive in firm initiatives such as preparing tax alerts/updates, newsletters, articles on technical subjects any other marketing communication as required by the Firm - Billing and collection discipline - Responsive and proactive in approach - Respect for organizational policies - Ability to market/seek work independently
