1. Client Management: - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of foreign and Indian clients. - Understand clients' accounting needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. - Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery. - Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster their professional growth. - Delegate tasks effectively, monitor performance, and ensure the team meets quality and productivity standards. - Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to proactively address any potential impacts on client operations. 2. Accounting Operations: - Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities for foreign and Indian clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IGAAP, IndAS and IFRS) and regulatory requirements. - Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support financial decision-making. 3. Tax Compliance: - Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in both foreign and domestic jurisdictions. - Review tax returns, filings, and other related documents to minimize tax liabilities for clients while maximizing tax efficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred. - At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on managing international and domestic clients. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including IGAAP, IndAS/IFRS and General taxation laws. - Experience in managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues at all levels. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ Oracle/ ZOHO) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
