Team Leader (Urban Planner and Project Coordinator)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Team Leader with expertise in Master Planning to lead and manage the formulation of comprehensive Master Plans and Development Plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Urban/Regional/Urban-Regional Planning or an equivalent qualification, along with extensive experience in Physical Development Plan, Land Pooling, and Regional Development Plan projects, both in India and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Master Planning Expertise:
- Lead and oversee the development and execution of Master Plans, Development Plans, and related projects.
- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to ensure the successful implementation of planning initiatives.
2. Project Leadership:
- Act as the Project Director, managing project teams and resources effectively.
- Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met within budget constraints.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with government agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all planning documents and proposals meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and audits to maintain high-quality output.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Urban/Regional/Urban-Regional Planning or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-master's degree work experience in Physical Development Plan, Land Pooling, Regional Development Plan, and related fields.
- Proven experience as a Team Leader or Project Director in the formulation of Master Plans and Development Plans in India or internationally.
Note: This is an on-site position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications:
- Post-graduation in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in the formulation of Master Plans and New Town Development Plans.
