Nangia Andersen LLP - Assistant Manager - Transfer Pricing

- We are looking for a candidate (Qualified CA/ MBA) for the position of Asst Manager with the work experience of 2+ years in transfer pricing and should have been involved in the following assignments- Preparation of TP documentation/ TP planning reports. TP Litigation preparation of standard submissions and reply to show cause notices. Knowledge of TP databases - Prowess and Capitaline (for undertaking search analysis).

- The candidate should have effective communication skills and be aware of MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and PPT specifically).

- Key Responsibilities: Transfer Pricing Documentation: Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation reports in accordance with local regulations and global standards. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with transfer pricing guidelines. Transfer Pricing Planning Reports: Assist in the development of transfer pricing planning reports to support clients in optimizing their transfer pricing arrangements.

- Collaborate with senior team members to analyze data and formulate strategic recommendations. Search Analysis: Conduct thorough search analysis and benchmarking studies to assess the arm's length nature of intercompany transactions. Utilize various databases and tools to gather relevant data and provide insights to support transfer pricing decisions.

- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored transfer pricing solutions. Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Compliance Support: Assist clients in addressing transfer pricing compliance requirements, including responding to tax authority inquiries and preparing supporting documentation for audits.

- Research and Development: Stay updated on transfer pricing regulations, industry trends, and best practices.

- Conduct research and analysis to enhance technical expertise and contribute to thought leadership initiatives. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, finance, and accounting to integrate transfer pricing considerations into broader business strategies and transactions.

- Project Management: Manage multiple transfer pricing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality. Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and profitability.

- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred. 2-5 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a consulting firm, tax advisory firm, or multinational corporation. Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles, regulations, and methodologies.

- Proficiency in conducting search analysis and benchmarking studies using various databases and tools (e.g., TP Catalyst, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform quantitative analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results under pressure. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work products. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
