Nangia Andersen LLP - Assistant Manager - Government Projects

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Relationship Building:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients, understanding their needs and objectives.

- Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management & Execution:

- Play a key role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing government projects from inception to completion.

- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges proactively.

Technical Expertise & Research:

- Possess a strong understanding of national and international government bidding processes.

- Conduct thorough research and analysis to prepare compelling proposals and technical documents.

- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and standards applicable to government projects.

Teamwork & Leadership:

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (accounting, tax, legal) to deliver comprehensive solutions for government clients.

- Lead and motivate junior team members, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification (preferred).

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a professional services firm or government agency.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering and executing government projects.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong leadership potential
