NPL BlueSky Automotive is a Technical Joint Venture formed between Nandan Petrochem Ltd. (NPL) and Kruse Automotive of Germany to manufacture and market AdBlue- in India. The objective of setting up this company is to supply AdBlue- to OEMs for their first fill requirement as well as to service their vehicles using the SCR Technology on the road.

Since 2005 the European producers of commercial vehicles, and also recently the automobile industry worldwide have been trusting AdBlue- as the SCR exhaust gas after treatment in the reduction of NOx emissions. Responsibilities include:

1. The person will be responsible to plan, supervise and co-ordinate overall operations of the Unit to meet qualitative & quantitative targets and ensure that production & dispatch activities are carried out as per company's business plan.

2. Other responsibilities include co-ordination with materials function for smooth supply of raw materials from approved sources & maintain inventory at minimum level.

3. Establish production planning process & norms through industrial engineering study & ensure implementation of the same.

4. Oversee all other support functions to achieve targeted production & productivity level with consistent quality.

5. Guide concerned functions in review & disposition of non conforming materials & products which goes beyond repair.

6. Liaison with Government Authorities, local administration & other external agencies for statutory compliance of the unit.

7. Identify training & development needs for subordinates & employees in general.

8. Responsible for all aspects of Plant Operations and Smooth functioning of all sections.

9. Well versed with 5S, Kaizen, Lean Management methodology.

10. Familiar with handling multiple Production line and SKU's

11. Experience in implementing Automation in Plants.

12. Experience in handling large teams consisting of White and Blue Collared employees.
