Job Synopsis :

Designation/ Title : Manager - Logistics

Job Type : Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Identify and implement strategic projects to improve logistics operations across India including cost analysis, routing, time in transit, shipping mode, etc.

2. Establish strong business partnerships Pan India level and negotiate contract with transportation and logistics providers.

3. Responsible for on time delivery.

4. Proactively monitor daily logistics operations to address issues and hold accountable for resolving operational issues.

5. Maintain reliable, timely, efficient, and competitive logistics operations.

6. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

7. Meet cost, productivity accuracy and timelines target.

8. Expertise in costing/MIS reports as per management requirements.

9. Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and manage competing priorities.

10. Report in achievement of targets and identify any actions required.

11. Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change process. Ensure effective logistics implementation takes place relating to the change.

12. New vendor development across PAN India. Manage and qualify vendors frequently.

Desired candidate's profile :

1. Graduate / Post Graduate with minimum of years of logistics experience in Agri/seed/fmcg manufacturing,

2. Minimum of 10 year of experience in commercial organisation.

3. Good leadership skills, critical thinking skills and Team oriented skills.

4. Self-driver and result-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear on high quality.

5. Superior computer skills, including hands-on experience in SAP & Excel at advanced level.
