Reports to: Manager-Credit Underwriting/Operations As an Assistant Manager- Credit Underwriting you will be reporting to the Manager of Credit Underwriting. You will frequently report to the upper management, providing information on team performance and specific issues that might arise. You should also confer with management and executives to set departmental goals, guidelines, and objectives. The main requirements of the Job include: - Responsible for credit appraisal and monitoring for SME Loans (Business Loans, Home Loans, Loan against property). - Implementation of Credit Policy primarily pre-approved and continuous evaluation to ensure adherence to the Policy and compliance with the Authority Matrix. - Analyzing the portfolio health and risk involved in particular segments of assets &amp; profile, SMES and giving timely feedback to the clients and internal Sales Team. - Ensuring portfolio quality is maintained at the highest standards and delinquency is under control. - Striving for continuous improvement in productivity. - Feedback for credit policy and new product launch based on market conditions. - To work closely with Manager of Credit Underwriting to ensure the process of risk analysis and the productivity of the team members remains Optimal throughout the course. - To train, guide and be a mediator between the voice of the cofounders and the Underwriting team to collaboratively achieve Namaste Credit's Goal. Required Skills: - Should Mandatorily have exposure Working In NBFCS and Private Banks. - Proficiency in Assessing Financial Risks, Developing and Implementing Procedures, Conducting Quality control. - Should and must have prior and current experience in handling a team. - Should be more analytical in approach, Go Getter and should have multitudes in Critical thinking. - Attitude that is team focused with the skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively among an interdepartmental collaborative environment.
