The Lead of Credit Operations is responsible for managing the oversight and coordination of all Credit Risk activities . This will include but not limited to leading the assessment and validation of new account acquisitions and existing customer management credit strategies with the goal of continual enhancement by optimizing risk /reward opportunities while managing the overall portfolio within Risk appetite. Job Description: - Act as subject matter expert on underwriting and serve as the first point of contact for internal and external escalations - Manage a quickly growing team to underwrite applications as per the credit policy - Support hiring and team onboarding processes for new hires - Ensure the team meets productivity and quality goals - Manage team scheduling and capacity planning - Maintain team documentation - Collaborate cross functionally on various initiatives for admin, credit , finance, tech and collections Qualifications: - Graduate/CA/MBA Finance (preferable) - Comfortable working using spreadsheets - Well versed with CIBIL, Perfios reports - Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience in any product - preferably personal loans - Minimum 6 month of experience leading teams - Ability to write SQL queries or inclination to pick this up quickly - Proven work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst or similar role - Good understanding of lending procedures Employment Type : Full-time
