Title: Manager - Transportation & Dispatch   Location: Bangalore  Minimum Skills:  - Require 8 - 10 Years of experience in managing front end transportation and logistics operation with demonstrated leadership experience.  - Candidate should have experience of managing cargo transportation wherein service levels are critical.  - Should be well versed with air, road and rail transportation.  - Experience of directly managing large teams in collaborative environment is a must.  - Good working knowledge of Excel & well versed with written/oral communication.  - Person should be a quick learner with good aptitude who has demonstrated ability for multitasking  Job Responsibilities:  - Once customer order is fulfilled by warehouse, same is handed over to dispatch hub and your work starts here.  - Shipment is sorted (manual/conveyor) and then handed over to respective courier partners.  - You are supposed to manage this team, design optimal cut-offs, ensure documentary compliance while shipping out the load.  - Majority of our shipments are delivered through in-house logistics and we are present in more than 40 cities.  - You need to plan transportation and optimize on cost and service levels. In this role you will be managing a portfolio of more than 100 vendors spread across country.   - Some shipments are handed over to 3PL partners (like Bluedart,DTDC) and team under you (in dispatch hub) will ensure timely hand over will proper documents.  - Myntra also has marketplace model of order fulfillment.   - Wherever there is a marketplace fulfilment centre being set up, you are required to set-up - dispatch hub- and also onboard vendors for downstream transportation
