Title: Associate Manager - Vendor Operations  Key Responsibilities :  - The key objective of the role is to ensure efficiency which comprises of overseeing on-time monitoring of communications and ensuring the team provides the quality service to the customer  - Effectiveness of the above will be measured by check the checker activity, ensuring repeat errors are reduced by tracking of all errors and ensuring consistency of auditing across SQEs by calibrating regularly  - The two objectives of this role are to drive effectively qualitative performance and superior customer experience of the 3P logistics team  Job Duties :  - Liaise with 3P Vendors for improving lane wise performance and to ensure smooth last mile operations  - Proactively resolving 3P escalations within a stipulated timelines  - Monitoring pending deliveries, pickups and calling out risks  - Identify & define metrics that shall form part of the Vendor performance index and to do a continuous monitoring of these metrics.  - Run basic analytics on Vendor performances and determine root causes for dips in Vendor performances and suggest improvements  - Work cross-functionally with different teams within & outside SCM in ideating & defining processes and systems  - Initiating and driving performance improvement projects understand the various types of SOP across the shipment lifecycle   - Ensure adherence to SOP  - Ensure reports are shared on time  - Audit the report shared, and responses received from the LSP's and improve the quality of information shared  - Contribute in performance sessions  - Manage disputes raised by logistics service providers  - Analyze, suggest, develop, implement and evaluate data and generate reports identifying weekly and monthly trends  - Complete administrative functions such as maintaining timeliness, accuracy of information shared  - Assess performance of SQE's  - Partner with HR when initiating corrective action on timely basis  Metrics for performance measurement :  - Monitoring numbers should meet SOP  - Team calibration variance  - Audit the vendor scores  - Reducing repeat errors  Qualifications :  - Group presentation skills  - Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust quickly in short timeframes with limited direct supervision  - Ability to build rapport with others and create a team environment  - Strong communication, organizational, motivational and time management skills  - Ability to work flexible hours if necessary  - Ability to analyze operational matrices and create Plan of Action with measurable changes within timelines  - Capable of identifying gaps and executing initiatives.  - Proficiency in use of the data system & sound knowledge in preparing MS office presentations and excel.  - Expected to lead by example   - Should display the behavior of a role model at all times
