MyGlamm - Senior Manager - Procurement

- Responsible with Procurement Team for implementing the procurement strategy for domestic purchases

- Responsible for executing the procurement strategy for imports.

- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and manage the development of contracts, contractual relationships and contract management to deliver continuous improvement in delivery of goods and services by the supply base

- Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes

- Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms

- Work closely with Research Development to source new and alternative raw materials

- Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.

- Assist in managing shipment and custom activities for import/export services

- Responsible for cost reduction/rationalization, material flow improvement, and business development.

- Identify and work on areas for cost rationalization/reduction in inward logistics

- Create and maintain detailed financial reporting on all import/export activities including order management, logistics and shipping.

Key requirements :

Candidates with 5-7 years of experience in procurement

Experience in handling imports

Excellent communication skills

Good knowledge of MS office suite
