- As a Head of Legal you would oversee the whole of legal & secretarial function for The Good Glamm Group, you would be responsible for: - Advising and counseling the business & commercial operations of the organization by giving pro-active, professional, competent solutions and creative legal support to minimize the risk exposure of the organization on day to day affairs as well as new initiatives. - Manage legal & secretarial requirements including overseeing diligences with reference to Fund raises in the group, mergers & acquisitions, organic expansion etc. Legal : End to end closure of agreements independently; negotiation of agreements with b2b customer, vendor, partner etc. Need based litigation management to minimize business risk Lead the IPR portfolio management by designing and developing IPR strategy (both active & proactive) to support business requirements. Secretarial : Effective management of secretarial function with a focus on documentation, compliances & problem solving for matters related to Company law, RBI regulations, shareholder agreements and so on. Compliances : Effectively manage compliances across the streams by working closely with various functions in the organization. Analysis of applicable law, compliances thereof and conducting periodic review/audit to ensure we are on the right side of the law. Key attributes you will bring in: Negotiation and drafting skills and business sense to deal with multiple functional teams in a rapidly scaling business. Solid interpersonal skills to work with reasonable size of team, multiple internal & external stakeholders Independence & ability to take on new initiatives and problem solve them and bring them to closure. Multi-tasking, high sense of ownership of initiatives & orientation to speed is of essence. Minimum Qualifications : Law graduate from a recognized university/college + CS 10+ years of relevant experience post completion of law graduation & CS, across the legal, secretarial & compliance functionalities in a growing set up. Prior experience of FMCG is an added advantage Candidates from Mumbai/Delhi are preferable
