MyGlamm - Associate Director - Accounts

- Manage the finance and accounting teams daily activities

- Manage the general ledger accounts

- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, and assist when needed

- Understand overall finance and accounting objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member.

- Manage the accounting system in accounting software to ensure consistency, accurate entry, and accurate reporting of all accounts.

- Review all accounts payable batches and monthly reports for validity, accuracy, and completeness and release the batches for payment.

- Responsible for closing Monthly/Quarterly Financials, Finalisation and preparation of Annual Financials in compliance with applicable GAAP(Standalone/Consolidated) and managing the audit with Big 4 auditor.

- Identify areas for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

- Escalate finance and accounting issues to the SENIOR CONTROLLER as required

- Ensure consistency of existing accounting systems through developing, implementing, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies/ procedures

- Perform accounting activities such as reviewing general ledger entries and research of entries processed

- Excellent understanding of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
