MyCFO - Head - Operations

BASIC PURPOSE:

Manages activities and supervises employees involved in departmental operations. Assures the process, production requirements and product quality expectations, and customer needs are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides direction and leadership to the departmental team to achieve high quality, productivity, and safety standards.

- Ensures compliance to production schedules, process quality, efficiency standards, budget, inventory, and data reporting.

- Ensure training and education on specific tasks and company-related Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping functions. Maintains training matrix.

- Facilitates improvement through team involvement, training, and education on specific tasks, safety issues, and other company-related functions.

- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers expectations

- Ensure equal time to spent in Factory

- Assists in the capital equipment implementation process.

- Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of departmental shop supplies and materials.

- Assures proper maintenance of equipment, tools, and housekeeping. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

- Mechanical Engineer, PG in Management preferred.

- Proven work experience as a Plant Manager

- Computer-literacy with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications, basic MRP and computer planning systems knowledge, and experience and/or training in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement preferred.

- Hindi language is a must. (Marathi knowledge is preferred)

- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes
