Job Description:   Channel Activity:   - To frame annual plan for the channel activities in the region based on the overall marketing strategies and sales plan.   - To prepare annual budgets for the channel activity in close conference with the Regional Sales Head and breaking down the same into feasible quarterly and monthly budgets.   - To Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department (Channel Team)   - To ensure that the international best practices for the channel activities in the retail chains are replicated innovatively in India.   - To continuously monitor the sales trends of the different retail chains in the region and accordingly prepare flexible channel programs for catering to the untapped market.   - To confer with the regional sales manager in regular intervals for planning the channel activities in the region and to ensure that the sales and channel team goals are aligned with each other.   - To coordinate with the Regional sales manager in ensuring that the channel budget is in sync with the sales volumes attained by the retain chains.   - To make sure that there is zero deviations in the cost incurred from the channel activities from the set budgets by Regional sales head with maximum productivity.   - To ensure that proper planning is done by the managerial staff for road shows and promotional activities.  - To ensure that evaluation of the channel/promotion activities happens religiously and to take corrective/progressive actions based on the same.   - To strategies and frame policies with respect to channel activities for key retail accounts and untapped retailers and prioritizing promotion activities for the same.   - To interact with channel mangers in the other regions at regular intervals for learning and sharing the best practices adopted by them for getting the mind space of the consumers.   - To create brand awareness of biofuel at retailers outlet, Institutions, Exhibitions and road shows through various promotional activities.   - To coordinate advertisement agencies through category for designing and preparation of creatives advertisement.   - To direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports highlighting the performance and the number of channel activities in the assigned sales zones.   - To continuously monitor the performance of the channel team, vendors, and advertisers and take necessary actions for achieving the channel goals.   Marketing:   - To determine advertising plan - copy, media, budget, goals, awareness impact, etc. Based on the advertising plan, prepare budget for local advertisement needs in the assigned region.  - To create advertisement calendar for the sales region for all the marketing activities and communicate to the same to key internal and external entities.  - To develop implement, and monitor detail tactics and spending in product advertising in the sales territories, which are driven by the overall marketing strategies.  - To determine if there are any sales promotions, other advertising activities for similar requirements available in other regions and leveraging the same.  - To Identify and develop marketing programs and business promotions to increase loyalty from consumers. The types of consumer promotions that can be used are coupons, samples, rebates and business promotions can be Trade shows, Sales contests, or specialty advertising.  - To review and evaluate regulatory/legal compliance for Promotional materials, programs, and samples.  - To coordinate with Brand Manager for implementing national level advertisement and promotion plan.  Desired Candidate Profile:   Education-  - UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization  - PG:Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization  - Doctorate: Any Doctorate - Any Specialization  - 10-15 years of Experience in Marketing with exposure to retail/institutional/Channel and Category sales.  - Preferably an MBA or Graduate with experience in Biodiesel/ Edible Oil/Renewable Energy industry in managing a region  Customer Focus:   - Is alert and sensitive to hidden customer needs;
