Objective of Role: To Lead the creation, development, management and implementation of MEE internal communication, publications, web, media and outreach activities.   Reporting To:- VP, Marketing  Role Description  Communication & PR:  - To ensure articulation of Organizations desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.  - Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the company's image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.  - To act as the Organizations representative with the media.  - Responsible for the achievement of communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the Management team.  - Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets in concurrence with VP, Marketing for the communications and public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.  - Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the communications/public relations function  - Ensure effective management within the Brand, category and public relations team, with provision for succession.  - Treats information on MEE clients, employees, Board members or investors in a confidential manner.   - Provide counsel and training to appropriate staff in media relations and interview techniques.   - Coordinates MEEs media strategy and activities (i.e. press releases, press conferences and other media events) and acts as the key focal point within the organization for all media and PR related issues.  - Ensures articulation of MEEs desired image and position, assures consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and assures communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.  - Performs additional tasks or responsibilities that the Managing Director may deem necessary.  - Oversee the corporate web site as a critical marketing and communications vehicle for the company.  - Develop and maintain effective relationships with analysts, institutional investors, retail brokers, financial journalists and regulators and be prime point of contact for them  - Assist in trade press and industry analyst relations, contributed articles, and speaking opportunities.  - Maintains successful national and market-specific coordination of corporate PR programs.  - Implements and ensures the use of MEEs official profile (logo etc.) in all internal and external communication products/documentation (stationary, reports, PR materials, web sites).  - Pitch corporate news stories to key Indian business and financial media.  - Identify and plan for public speaking events and contributed article opportunities/submissions.  - Write news releases, speeches and messaging materials for quarterly and material corporate announcements.  - Assist with planning and managing the annual investor relations event calendar, including investor conferences and road shows, the annual shareholder meeting, and investor outreach.  - 8-10 years of Experience in PR with exposure to Biodiesel/Edible Oil/Renewable Energy.  - Preferably an MBA or Graduate with experience in Biodiesel/Edible Oil/Renewable Energy industry handling product portfolios and corporate communication  - Excellence in Communication  - Organizes ideas in a clear, logical flow that can easily be followed by the customers.   - Demonstrates a willingness to share ideas and perspectives and encourages others to do the same.  - Uses graphics and other aids to clarify complex or technical information.  - Uses appropriate writing style consistent with organizational guidelines and norms.  Networking and PR:  - Builds and maintains a network of work related individuals and suppliers   - Develops cordial business relations with a large network of work related people for innovation in processes  - Collaborates across internal and external agency boundaries to meet common objectives.  - Seeks out and builds relationships with others who can provide information, intelligence, career support, potential business, and other ways to help.  Influencing Others:  - Presents facts, analysis, and conclusions or solutions in a way that demonstrates command of content;
