Key Responsibilities and Accountability: - As the Monetization Strategy resource, this individual will work in the Revenue Strategy domain in the Mumbai (Andheri East) location. - This role shall help drive monetization across the MX Player suite of products. Seeking a skilled future leader who can help establish MX Player as a premium digital publisher in the market - someone who can balance the short and long term, think strategically, and merge creativity with execution excellence. Design &amp; implement monetization Strategy: - Identify key health metrics for the ad sales and subscription organizations - Conduct periodic sales reviews to monitor key health metrics across regions to suggest appropriate course corrections - Monitor performance (against internal targets and competitor benchmarks) on plan vs. actuals and suggest course corrections - Establish pricing models to maximize revenues and regularly tune the same to market conditions Thought Leadership : - Liaison with industry bodies and technology partners to conceptualize and disseminate case studies for successful monetization solutions - Articulate and evangelize MX Player's value proposition to clients- organizations, clearly articulate business benefits of MX Player - Generate advertiser/ sector insights and monitor key trends Drive Customer Success : - Be a strong advocate for customers success, and mobilize all appropriate resources to help your customers succeed with MX Player - Discover new opportunities and expand existing base in clients to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota targets - Design pitches for impact properties and support sales team for annual deals - Enable advertiser success through optimization of campaigns using MX Player's internal data and audience management tools Project Management and process excellence : - Help implement Salesforce CRM tool and drive adoption among sales team - Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and run independent experiments - Coordinate across publishing, marketing, product and content to envision and execute innovative ad solutions - Manage critical multi-functional projects on enhancing consumer/ customer data - The role will work very closely with MX Player's top leadership team to drive synergies across different functions to maximize revenues at the group level Skills &amp; Competencies: - Strong understanding of sales processes and project management - Strong relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills - Curiosity about and broad awareness of global developments in digital space - Strong presentation and communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Self-driven and entrepreneurial Required Qualifications: - 2-4 years of overall experience with minimum 1-2 years in Strategy Consulting / Planning roles is a must - MBA from a Tier 1 B-School along with B.E. / B Tech from top Engineering colleges or BA Economics is preferred About MX Player: - MX Player is the world's No.1 entertainment app offering viewers high quality, digital first content.
