Job Title : Head of Finance  Location - Bangalore (Dodballapura)  Reports To: Group CFO  Position Location: Bangalore, India   Position Summary   This finance leader will be expected to develop into a strong business partner of the local management team and HQ and implement actions to increase earnings and cash flow, actively participating in all key operation and commercial initiatives and creating awareness as to the business issues and opportunities, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual smoothly and accurate accounting close within the given timeline. The position owner will have a strong focus on continuous improvement and will support the organization to drive this through the different functions in- and outside of the finance organization.  Key Responsibilities   Provide financial oversight for the Indian financials for monthly risk and opportunities, monthly reporting and forecasting and local leadership staff meetings.  Drives the execution of the annual budget process for India via robust business partner support and world class financial reporting.  Develop and utilise proactive, early indicator reporting metrics to communicate financial risk or opportunities in a timely manner to local senior leadership and Group.  Support the finance organization to implement appropriate systems, control/process standards, accounting principles, policies and reporting practices.  Partner with group finance to solicit feedback to develop and implement step level improvements in reporting and continuously make process and system upgrades to enhance efficiency and productivity.  Drive rigorous and transparent financial reporting and improvements (i.e. analysis which covers the area of commercial and operations performance, CapEx reporting, cost analysis and working capital improvements).  Key driver for the monthly Policy Deployment process. Identify, communicate and recommend/implement corrective actions.  Perform and lead special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required (i.e. standard cost implementation, etc.)  Ensure adherence to the Group Approval Authority Matrix and Corporate Accounting Policies  Acting as a role model leader and demonstrate strong leadership by managing poor performance if necessary and develop high potentials.  Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing process in time with the corporate closing calendar and report properly in the Group Consolidation- and ERP system (local GAAP & IFRS)  Contact person for internal and external auditors, banks and local authorities.  Responsible for reporting and accounting tax requirements  Manage the outsourced payroll  Contact person for external consultants on SAP issues and development  Skills  Strong knowledge in local GAAP and IFRS required  Working knowledge in ERP-SAP  Working knowledge in common reporting tool (i.e. Hyperion, Jedox, BCS SEM, etc..) is a plus advantage  Strong knowledge on business dynamics and financial implications  English is a must  Professional knowledge in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)  Education  Master in Commerce, with a qualification as Chartered Accountant / Cost Works Accountant  MBA in Finance is a plus advantage
