Muthoot Homefin - Regional Credit Manager

- Credit Underwriting: Oversee the credit underwriting process for home loan applications in the region, ensuring adherence to the company's credit policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Risk Assessment: Assess the creditworthiness of borrowers by analysing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine the applicant's ability to repay the loan.

- Portfolio Quality: Monitor and maintain the quality of the loan portfolio in the region, identifying potential credit risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

- Policy Development: Participate in the development and improvement of credit policies, processes, and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and risk management.

- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of credit analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.

- Decision Making: Make informed and timely credit decisions on loan applications, balancing risk factors with business objectives to drive loan approvals and growth.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, collections, and operations, to streamline processes and resolve issues related to credit assessment and decision-making.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to credit underwriting and loan approvals.

- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing insights into the credit performance of the region and suggesting areas for improvement.

- Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring borrowers receive timely and accurate responses while maintaining high service standards.

- Training and Development: Organize training programs for branch teams and sales managers to enhance their understanding of credit policies and processes.
