Job Purpose : To ensure timely review of the bordereaux on the basis of the Treaty terms and to ensure accurate recording of premium and statistical information and perform RI administration activities. Key Responsibilities: - Collaboration with Business development support team, MR's internal stakeholders (Claims, Underwriting, Accounts, IT) and MR's external clients for the provision of quality source data required for statistical, accounting and valuation activities. - Analysis of client information (data) to ensure adequacy for appropriate account processing and reporting. Performance of routine and targeted Quality Assurance on all premium administration data received at MR and recorded in MR- S systems i.e. proactive identification of issues in MR and client data, business processes, administration systems and procedural issues. - Timely and accurate recording of all incoming premium and statistical information relating to allocated accounts. - Support Actuarial team with coordination of End of month processing close, reconciliations, checking and signing off periodic reports, to ensure integrity of premium accounting and statistical data and following-up administration/data issues. Conduct analyses and provide remedial action plans. - Develop and enhance KPI tools including; - Stats vs Revenue (exception reporting) - Large Risk reporting and accumulation control. - Manage creditors/debtors position for allocated accounts. Review amounts in suspense accounts and reconcile to correct account. - Preparation of treaty wordings and annexes relating to the Treaty sections on data requirements, to ensure client data is suitable for premium administration, valuations, treaty analysis and all other uses of data in the Business. - Build relationships with appropriate client contacts / Internal Business Development team / Actuarial Team/ underwriting team - Timely and proper tracing of Claims to in-force data and settlement in accordance with treaty terms - To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence from time to time. Qualifications & Educational Background: - Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience - Experience in General Insurance or Reinsurance Industry administration will be an advantage. - Strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills, with intermediate to advanced level excel & Access skills (essential). - Good communication and interpersonal skill Competencies: - Understanding clients and client markets - Accepting change and taking initiative - Building up and passing on expertise - Learning through cooperation with others - Motivating and developing staff - Munich Re not only stands for fairness with regard to its clients; it is also an equal opportunities employer.
