Actuarial Manager - Pricing Life & Health Location : Mumbai , India We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated actuarial professional who will support the Deputy Head of Pricing in production of reinsurance quotes, pricing reports, reinsurance treaties and designated special projects for the South Asian market (i.e. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal) Your job : - Prepare and ensure that the reinsurance quotes are correct and as per the agreed Terms of Trade. - Develop and / or review pricing reports in accordance with Business Authorisation procedures - Manage / Oversee the delivery of allocated projects, relating to Actuarial activities - Develop and demonstrate a thorough and up to date knowledge of Munich Re, our clients, Indian Insurance markets, and of major worldwide developments in the field. - Monitor development of pricing research, review pricing parameters quarterly and draft updates as required - Contribute to development of analytical tools and actuarial models to help obtain insights from available information - Produce quality internal management information and reports to assist the decision making process - Assist in drafting and completion of all Reinsurance treaties Your profile : Education & Experience : - Qualified actuary or nearly qualified actuarial student with 12-14 examinations passed - Knowledge of Individual and group risk products in the Indian market, including product features, benefits, capital adequacy requirements and reserving approaches - 5-7 years experience in life insurance or reinsurance companies - Strong computer skills e.g. Microsoft Office application - Good to Have: R, AXIS, SQL etc. About us : Find out Who we are, What we do, Our Strategy and How we can support & Reward you Our business model is based on the combination of primary insurance and reinsurance under one roof.
