Job Responsibilities of the Role of QC Manager:-
Main Challenges in this Position (or Company/Division/BU):
- To drive compliance of GMP & HACCP requirements as per the Quality Management systems and standards across all plant divisions of MTR.
- Drive investigation of non-conforming material, components, and product for causes and ensure corrective action as continual environment.
- To ensure inspection of the final product to ensure that no quality deviant products are sent to the market.
- Follow work procedures & guidelines for processing house quality and their implementation.
- To regularize and improve the quality of MIS of all concerned areas in shift operations.
- Effective management of a team of QC Executives responsible for in process QC across different divisions.
Responsibility and Mandate:-
- Work closely with QA Manager to work on identifying opportunities for improvement in process and packing lines in line with our QMS principles.
- Process: Responsible and Instrumental in Process control and clearance of Raw material, Semi-finished & Finished goods in SAP platform on the day-to-day basis.
- Drive SOP implementations. Work closely with Divisional Production Manager for compliance of SOPs, SSOPs.
- Drive GMP compliance and Audit compliance.
- Drive reduction of COPQ and variations reductions.
- The role would be responsible to drive compliance to Internal Orkla Food Safety standards, BRC standards, EIA standards and other relevant standards which company would like to adhere to.
- The role would work on complaint closure and ensure repetitive complaint eliminations.
- The role would be responsible to implement change across process and transform MTR from QC culture to QA culture.
- Criteria for Evaluation: Systems developed. Compliance to systems. Audit corrections. Customer complaints Certifications obtained. Price of Non Conformance Cost of rejections and rework. Development of SOPs.
Education & Experience: -
- B.Sc/B.Tech./M.Sc in Food Technology/Engineering.
- Experience of over 8 + years in Quality Control in Foods.-
- Passionate on acquiring knowledge on Food Safety, Process Innovation & Quality.
- Setting standards: Quality / Design & adherence to SOPs quality & hygiene standards.
- Quality guidelines for procuring raw materials (Support vendor development & quality standards at vendor site). Knowledge of Product quality and Operational consistency. Experience on statistical process control and use of different QC tools. -
- Competence/Skills: MS Office.- Interpersonal Skills.- Systems and Process orientation.- Exposure to SAP Meticulous.- Assertive.- Cross Functional collaborative skills Detail oriented
