Manufacturing Manager

Main Challenges in this Position :

- Be responsible for overall management and deliverables for the division.

- Delivery of daily, monthly, and annual throughput targets.

- Ensure operation of plant and machinery as per SOP.

- Ensure optimal utilization of plant and machinery through planned batch sizes and product changeovers.

- Good Hygiene and Manufacturing Practices during the operation.

- Discipline and adherence to safety protocols.

- Coordinate with HR for all people-related issues and Maintenance for all machinery breakdowns.

- Ensure effective use of the resources to ensure maximum efficiency in terms of cost and productivity.

- To develop & coach team members to improve skills and competencies & establish an improvement oriented culture.

Main Tasks and/or Projects :

- To ensure a high weekly adherence level on case fill and line fill against the plan.

- To implement all GMP standards are met at the shop floor in producing the goods thereby complying with food safety standards like BRC, ISO 22000, and any other audits like US FDA, Hallal. etc.

- To implement all Work safety standards requirements are met at the shop floor to achieve zero harm objectives.

- To implement continuous improvement projects at plant thereby improving the efficiency of the plant.

- To implement Manufacturing excellence requirements like Autonomous maintenance, 5S, Energy optimization, Quality circle, and Kaizen at the plant thereby adhering to Orkla Production systems

- Participate in new projects for new product manufacturing with an objective to finally take over the plant from projects and R&D for continuous production.

Candidate Profile :

- Education (Level and area) B.E./B. Tech/M.Sc/M. Tech in Food Technology, Mechanical, Production, Chemical Engineering or others with 7+ years of experience in food companies.

- Experience in Foods Manufacturing

- SAP Exposure

- GMP/GHP Exposure

- Union environment exposure
