Job Description of HR Manager (Capability & Culture Building) :
Main Challenges in this Position (or Company/Division/BU) :
- Responsible for managing HR processes wrt employees capability and culture building across levels.
- Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
- Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
- Facilitate cultural transformation in the organization by anchoring employee engagement activites.
- Build a culture of appreciation by driving and managing rewards program.
- Drive new joiner indcution and manage robust acclimatization programs and initiatives.
Responsibility and Mandate :
- Track monthly Training (budget vs spent) and Rewards and Recognition budget and report on a monthly basis.
- Effective management of Learning Management System.
- Custodian of HR Collaterals in the organization.
- Bring change and be creative in existing employees- capability and culture building processes and systems.
- Timely compilation and management of Learning, R&R, Sales Training, Induction and other dashboards.
Main Tasks and/or Projects :
- Plan, roll out and coordinate induction programs for the new joiners across the country.
- Drive employee rewards and recognition program.
- Plan, organize & facilitate - Face of the Quarter- Awards.
- Compile function-wise training needs from Orkla Plus IDP Forms
- Facilitate training and development programs at the Corportate office, factory and zonal locations, ensuring collation of training attendance and feedback of the participants.
- Review and update training modules on a quarterly basis in coordination with the Marketing department.
- Facilitate training programs, seminar nominations for the external bodies.
- Tracking the progress of the external training action plans and forwarding the same to reporting managers for annual reviews.
- Develop and maintain monthly dashboards, quarterly Newsletter for Face of the quarter winners.
- Coordinate technical skill enhancement trainings for factory staff.
- Update and maintain the MTR training effectiveness model documents and formats.
- Managing HR audits conducted by the external bodies in coordination with Factory HR team.
- Drive recruitment process through campus program for the Sales trainees. Oversee the performance management of the trainees all year through.
- Recognize & felicitate the STAR Hero of the Quarter across all zones as per the Yearly Sales incentive structure.
- Create employee engagement calendar, organize employee engagement activities & events across the organization.
- Manage administration of Learning Management System, MIS and reports.
- Work on timely processing of payments to the vendors, coordinating vendor code generation process.
Criteria for Evaluation :
- Induction for number of joiners.
- Facilitation and coordination for number of Training.
- Ensuring effectiveness of training programs and ensuring ROI.
- Development and timely execution of the capability building programs and processes.
- Development of the Sales trainees (recruitment /retention /attrition).
Education & Experience :
- Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel/HR Management or MBA in HR from a institute.
- 3+ Experience in managing training processes.
- Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
- Experience and exposure with e-learning /Digital learning platforms
Competence/Skills :
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
- Exposure in administrating and managing LMS
- Knowledge and exposure of competency frameworks
- Experienced in managing employee engagement and culture building activities and interventions
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- MS Office proficiency (Excel-High; Powerpoint-Medium; Word-Medium).
