MTR Foods - Logistics Manager

- To develop and implement effective logistics solutions, process automation, standardization and streamlining of logistics operation, for supply chain management.

- To strategize and plan operation looking at future volumes and ensuring implementation of the same.

- Efficiently manage the receipt, storage and issues of RM, PM and FG as per policies and procedures and required service levels.

- Plan for warehouse capacities and its utilization within agreed costs and budgets.

- Develop and implement SOPs for warehousing, material handling and CFA operations for both cold and dry inventories.

- Negotiate with transporters and contract for long term rates and capacities for all categories.

- Review and recommend appointment/renewal of warehousing contracts

- Maintain high degree of stock accuracies and their integrity with the company ERP (SAP).

- Capture pure indents from the distributors/customers and maintain high fill rates.

- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment and frequency.

- Create policies for logistics activities.

- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training, and safety records.

- Ensure adherence to daily dispatch plans and ensure efficient order picking, loading, stacking, routing and documentation.

- Ensure Regulatory requirements, hygiene and safety norms at all Distribution centers.

- Ensure compliance to all applicable legislation and risk policies including Licences required.

- Bring in efficiency in Logistics by process improvement and cost savings.

- Ensure compliance for all re-distribution for secondary sales movement in the region.

- Appointment of transporters basis laid down norms and guidelines.
