Product Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

As a Product Manager you are responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing and client engagement teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand end user's problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Responsibilities include :

- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

- Define product requirements, develop business models, and determine support requirements and processes to ensure the success of the product

- Continually assess the needs of customers, market trends, competitive opportunities and threats in defining and evolving the product strategy in your area of product ownership.

- Be the voice of the customer and always act in the interest of the product's end users

- Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and engineering to build product requirements and drive successful launches of products

- Design innovative product features with the goal of improving customer experience, retention, and sales

- Drive strategic alignment with company business goals

- Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

- Relevant years of experience with a blend of technical, business and product, and/or program management roles

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, technology or business with relevant work experience

- Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer (buying and selling) needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs

- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that will enable you to earn trust at all levels

- Extreme attention to detail and desire to roll up sleeves

- Ability to work directly with engineering teams to set scope, manage progress, and acceptance testing

- Ability to contribute to a technical discussion and properly illustrate product concept/vision by producing clear wireframes and interaction diagrams

- Experience delivering software or online products to market

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

- Must be a self-starter. Previous startup or e-commerce experience is a strong plus
