The position reports to Senior Associate HR - Mumbai
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Under general supervision of the Manager performs a wide variety of professional human resource work for the office at a local level in all aspects of HR process. Participates actively and supports in short/long term special projects for the HR function as and when required. Assists to conceptualize and deploy HR processes and initiatives across all departments in the office. Has hands on approach and exercises initiative in the delivery of assigned tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes to the internal customer
- Manage the life cycle of an employee in the business unit associated with – Joining to Exit
- Anchor issues on employee grievances for the associated business unit and help forward/ resolve them with support from specialist team and Manager as deemed necessary
- Assists in developing HR strategies for the office that involve integrating best practice concepts
- Supports the HR operations process for the office by adhering to defined processes and meeting various statutory and internal deadlines
- Assists in developing, implementing and conducting employee engagement initiatives by integrating best HR practices
- Collaborating with the Global Compensation & Benefits/Recruitment/Talent Management teams to implement various initiatives/processes globally and locally.
- Assists Manager during various Internal Compliance audits and the related efforts
- Assists the Manager for any data audit, headcount reporting, other adhoc MIS requirements
- Establishes a professional working relationship with other key functions like Corporate Services, Accounting and IT Infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of service on all HR matters
- Coordinates and follows up with the consultant for all local labor law compliance requirements - various types of monthly and annual returns for submission to the labour office and all related documentation.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduates with 8-10 years relevant experience in the above areas or postgraduates with 7-8 years relevant experience.
