Position overview: The Program Management Associate is responsible for supporting the implementation of MSCI's Index Technology, Operations Innovation and NPD projects and programs. The Associate is responsible for onboarding new clients into the MSCI Index process. The candidate must have a track record of supporting improvement projects in previous roles. Responsibilities: Onboarding:&nbsp; - Onboarding New client/funds in to MSCI processes - Handhold the process until the first bundle of products are delivered and you are up and running with ongoing data delivery process - Support understanding the MSCI Global data standards model - Assist mapping your data fields to MSCI data fields - Resolve any queries you have in the data deliver process - Partner closely with Product, Coverage, Marketing and other MSCI teams to deliver the best solutions and experience for our clients - Develop Subject Matter Expertise on MSCI Real Estate products/tasks and share best practices Program Management : - Be the face of clients and business to the Engineering Team by understanding and representing their needs and product requirements and turning them into detailed engineering requirements and plan - Engage with clients to communicate process/product changes and drive client adoption - Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed - Perform risk management to minimize project risks - Bring deep client-focus and understanding of business goals into how to build and deliver solutions - Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and enhance processes - Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and local market teams - Participate and deliver on the assigned projects, as per milestones Desired experience and qualifications: - Bachelors in any finance or engineering related discipline are required; management degree is a plus - Fundamental knowledge in accounting and finance is mandatory - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills - Working knowledge of MS Excel skills (required) and knowledge of VBA skills (desirable) - Ability to use SQL scripts and understanding of Power Bi is required - Experience in mentoring and / or managing a few people from a content review/ signoff perspective is preferable - Excellent people skills - Ability to inclusively manage a matrix project team to complete required tasks and activities - Candidate must have knowledge of financial markets. - Good analytical skills, confident and self-assured - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - Ability to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team - Is self-driven and motivated Due to the great number of applications we receive for each of our open vacancies, we are unable to respond on an individual basis.
