Your team responsibilities :

The BarraOne Product Specialist team is responsible primarily for presales processes for the BarraOne platform. It is a highly analytically skilled team, which ensures prospects and clients, fully understand and are further bale to use the platform functionalities corresponding to their specific use cases (Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Wealth Managers, etc). The spectrum of knowledge and activities is very broad and includes Risk, Performance, Optimization, Stress Testing, ESG and Climate Risk, Private Assets. The Pre-sales team contributes to success of sales and associated revenue generation by generating and delivering an analytical output during the benefits positioning stage of the sales cycle. The team is focusing on the functional positioning, product differentiation and client driven solutions. Through in-depth understanding of the prospective client's business needs, the team helps find practical solutions that may involve multiple MSCI products. The team also helps in upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.

Your key responsibilities :

- Be a product specialist for a Multi - Asset Class risk and performance attribution platform

- Keep up to date with new features and enhancements being introduced in MSCI product and services

- Liaise with sales team to understand prospective client requirements and set-up client data to demonstrate the value add of MSCI MAC solutions

- Conduct prospective client trainings and demo proof of concepts of comprehensive Multi-Asset Class solutions to allow clients to visualize the product features

- Gathering Business Requirements from Client, translate them into technical and functional requirements

- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate development requirements to MSCI product management teams

- Effectively communicate the solution requirements to MSCI teams and client using comprehensive documentation

- Share best practices across different client use cases based on current and potential MSCI products and solutions

- Build programs based on MSCI APIs with different wrappers supported within MSCI infrastructure

Your skills and experience that will help you excel :

- Very strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Good writing and verbal communication skills.

- Client relationship management experience in the financial services industry.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

- 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry, working in performance attribution, portfolio management or risk management functions.

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

- Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably with a finance/economics/mathematics /engineering /quantitative background. Master's Degree is preferred.

- Professional qualifications such as a CFA charter holder, FRM (Financial Risk Manager) is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with programming and data visualization tools like, python, C#, Spotfire, Power BI, tableu is desirable.
