Your team responsibilities:

MSCI Global Index Client Service is the primary point of contact for clients and users of MSCI Index products and serves as the key link to MSCI's Global Research and Index operations. The team members are responsible for directly responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational and technical questions on MSCI benchmark products.

The MSCI Index Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our institutional, dominantly financial institutional clients around the world. Globally the Index Client Service group is present in the following locations: San Francisco, Monterrey, New York, London, Budapest, Mumbai, Shanghai and Manila.

Your key responsibilities:

- Gain a deep understanding of MSCI index construction methodologies This includes remaining up to date with ongoing enhancements as well as new products as necessary.

- Able to master MSCI Index tools, applications and an usage of MSCI data

- Directly assist global clients via phone and email by answering detailed questions on our products and methodology, including

- Index construction, rebalancing and corporate event methodologies for our standard and customized indexes

- Providing trainings on the usage of our products, tools and applications

- Assisting clients with the ongoing usage of our products, data requests

- Working with internal departments to ensure all clients requests/inquiries are managed appropriately

- Conduct remote and on-site service reviews with clients on a regular basis

- Act as a liaison and source of feedback directly to Sales, Research, Product Management, Finance and Product Delivery groups.

- Ensuring current clients are aware of important changes and developments to the MSCI indexes

- Taking ownership of various initiatives that are aiming to improve the client experience and the efficiency of our processes

- Perform any other tasks as assigned by line manager

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

- Strong Numerate bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance

- 2 years experience in client relationship management

- CFA is a plus

- Fluency in English, another European language is an advantage

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complicated concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing to a wide variety of audiences

- Good understanding of capital markets and investment products and keen interest in understanding the latest developments in the financial markets

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines
