POSITION OVERVIEW:

- Reporting into a New York based Finance Director; this is a high visibility role with the primary responsibility to produce the monthly financial reports along with in-depth analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Measurement and Related Analytics:

- Preparation and explanation of the P&L to management along with ensuring timely adherence to deadlines.

- Analyzing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends in major P&L lines

- Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products

- Reviewing processes and suggesting/ implementing improvements & changes to current procedures

- Monthly variance reporting and reporting of any issues, risks & opportunities, Flash reporting

- Monthly management reporting, updating reporting decks & management reviews with Finance Management as required

- Prepare appropriate price-volume analyses to identify trends and profitability impacts.

- Summarize conclusions from financial analysis on a pro-active basis and provide key takeaways to senior management.

- Develop and generate financial reports, both routine and ad-hoc.

Month End Reporting activities:

- Assist in key month end activities which provides oversight of completeness and accuracy of underlying management information

- Support various teams with key Management reporting as appropriate

- Reviewing financials on a daily basis during the month-end period and reporting issues

- Working as part of a diverse team spread across the region, Interaction with a wide range of people and exposure to Regional /Global Finance Owners

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

- Attention to detail is an essential part of the job

- Good financial analysis and management reporting background having 7+ years of prior work experience

- Certified Public Accountant(CPA) is preferred but not a pre-requisite

- Prefer accounting/FPA experience gained in both the public and private sectors.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access).

- Demonstrated proficiency in providing accurate and detailed financial analysis in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Experience of working with financial data and knowledge of financial reporting tools - Essbase & Epicor would be a plus.

- Time management & organizational skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Demonstrated internal customer service skill.

- Proactive individual who should take initiative with an analytical bent of mind.
